Port Columbus International Airport
CMH The airport is located 7 miles (10km) northeast of Columbus. The ride to downtown takes from 10 to 20-minute.
This airport serves Columbus and regional areas including Cleveland, Cincinnati and Indianapolis.
The airport will be a hub for Skybus Airlines when it begins operations in 2007.
In 2006 passenger traffic was almost 6.7 million.
The airport handles 600 domestic and foreign departures and arrivals daily
The airport has one terminal with three concourses (A, B, and C).
The airport has 2 runways.
The runways are from 8000 feet to 10000 feet in length.
The airport was opened on 1929, on a site originally selected by Charles Lindbergh, as the eastern air terminus of the Transcontinental air-rail New York to Los Angeles intercontinental route.
The airport has been named Port Columbus since it’s opening.
From Cleveland, take I-71 south to I-270 east, follow I-270 to exit 35. From Wheeling, take I-70 west to I-270 north, follow I-270 to exit 35. From Indianapolis, take I-70 east to I-71 north, follow I-71 to I-670 east and take I-670 to exit 9. From Cincinnati, take I-71 north to I-270 east, follow I-270 to exit 35
All concourses are laid out in a "Y" configuration off the central ticketing and service atrium and it should take no longer than 5 minutes to walk the length of any concourse.
Many parking options are available: Curbside Valet parking is $18 a day. Hourly Parking is $2/hr with $25 per day maximum. Long term parking $2 per hour with $15 per day maximum.
The airport also has a number of restaurants, cafés, bars, fast food outlets and snack bars. There is also a restaurant and fast-food outlet in the airport grounds. Some of the choices are Cup O' Joe, Columbus Brewing Company, Quiznos Sub, Wolfgang Puck, A & W All American Food, Rapido's Pizzeria, Uno, Great American Bagel Bakery Co., Charley's Grilled Subs, Freshëns Yogurt, etc.
The Lost and Found Office is located on the mezzanine level above the food court. This office handles all items lost throughout the airport concourses. You may contact the office by calling 614-239-5035.
There is an interfaith Meditation Room located on the baggage claim level (across from carousel #6). This room provides a collection of holy books, sacred writings, and prayer books for use by guests of the airport. People of all faiths are welcomed to use the room for a quiet space of private meditation.

Paradies News and Gift Shops are located in each of the three concourse areas. There is also a golf shop, a book shop, gift and souvenir shops, men’s fashion and a toiletries shop on the ticketing level. Retailers include Brooks Brothers, Bath & Body Works, Heritage Booksellers and CNBC News Store.
